Emeralds, formerly known as NFTC, are the premium currency of the Habbo collection ecosystem. Premium collectibles - Genesis Habbo Avatars, Crafted Habbo Avatars, Habbo Portraits and Habbo X-Rooms - all earn their owners daily emeralds, which can be requested and spent in the collectibles store.

Emeralds can be earned in various ways. They can be earned by owning a Habbo X-Room, Habbo Avatars, Crafted Avatars or Habbo Portrait. They can also be purchased from the Immutable Marketplace and won by participating in player-organized games within Habbo X.

Emeralds can be spent on a variety of things within the ecosystem. They can be used to collect items, mainly furniture and clothing. They can also be used to craft collectible items, craft avatars, upgrade Habbo X rooms and buy additional furniture boxes in a room's furniture factory.

One useful aspect of the emeralds is that you can turn certain quantities into furniture collectibles, which can then be sold in the Habbo Tokens section of the TokenTrove Marketplace. The available quantities are 100, 500, 1,000, 10,000. Once you have turned your emeralds into collectibles, they can not only be sold to other players, but displayed in the Habbo room, just like any other piece of collectible furniture.
