How It Works

When an LTD goes on sale, you’ll still press the buy button like normal. But instead of the item being instantly sold, a 20-second buffer kicks in.

During this short window, our system looks at everyone who clicked “buy” and applies a small weighting in favour of more experienced Habbos. While we’re not sharing exact criteria, things like time spent in-game and badges collected may give you a slight edge.

If you’re selected, your purchase will go through automatically after the buffer, and the LTD will be added to your inventory. If there are any items left after the buffer period, the sale returns to a first come, first served format.

ℹ️ Note:

• You’ll need to be at least level 5 to take part.

• The price of the LTD will be 50 credits and 10 diamonds.

🏆 LTD Achievements!

There are also two new achievements tied to LTD purchases!

The LTD Early Bird achievement tracks how many times you manage to snag a LTD within the first 20 seconds of it going live – so yes, your lightning-fast clicking finally counts for something. Every LTD purchase you make within the 20 second buffer from now on will progress you to the next level of the achievement!

Meanwhile, the LTD Purchaser achievement is all about consistency: it progresses each time you successfully buy an LTD. Heads up though – this one isn’t retroactive, so only purchases made from now on will count!

🤖 Why We're Testing This

In the past, LTD drops have been hard to manage fairly: bots and scripters often snapped up the most desirable items before regular players even had a chance, and the number of bots participating made it harder for everyone else to get one. This new system is designed to reduce that impact by quietly shifting the odds in favour of real, long-term players.

We’re treating this release as an important test. It’s about gathering data, learning what works, and making small adjustments if necessary.

🌍 Our Staggered Hotel Release Schedule

To make sure everything runs smoothly, we’re rolling out the LTD in stages. First, it’ll go live in a smaller hotel, then in a larger one. If all goes well in both the smaller and larger hotel, we’ll release it on the remaining seven hotels at the same time.

Keep an eye on the hotel view – the 48 hour LTD timer that appears there will let you know when it’s dropping!
