Habbo at 25: a letter from Mummiopappa

Hello, Habbos!

Habbo turning 25 is a big deal. I wanted to write a quick note before things start to ramp up for this anniversary event to say how excited I am to be working on the game during such an iconic milestone. What an amazing place Habbo is!

There’s a lot planned for this month – some throwbacks, some new stuff, and a few surprises. You’ll see a range of games and activities, Quests, and (of course) furni designed specifically to celebrate the occasion, and hopefully, something in there will speak to the version of Habbo you remember (or the one you play today!)

This community has always been what makes Habbo special. Whether you’ve been around since the early 2000s or you checked in last month, your contributions have helped shape the Hotel into what it is today.

Over the years, we’ve kept a lot of what people loved from the early days – nostalgic items, classic events, and Habbo Hotel: Origins – while also bringing new energy into the game through things like Collectibles and exciting collabs and crossovers. Hopefully, next month’s event feels like a good mix of both.
