Your feedback about the Furni-Matic
Okay, so… a lot of you had thoughts about the recent changes to the Furni-Matic in Habbo. And yep – we hear you.
So, here’s what’s changing:
We’re reverting the items that were made non-recyclable on Friday afternoon. The items we're referring to are:
- RIP Monster Plant
- Plant Seed
- Mega Pencil
- Bobba Cactus
- Mega Flower
- Mega Cassette Tape
- Cheep Cheep
- Mega Ring
- Mega Sushi
- Mega Horse
- Mega Moon Cake
- 8 Bit Jello
- Mega Soap
- Mega Popcicle
- Yellow Lava Lamp
- Green Lava Lamp
- Pink Lava Lamp
- Silver Time Capsule
- Yellow Skull Bottle
- Pink Skull Bottle
- Blue Skull Bottle
- Green Skull Bottle
- Duck
- Silver Base Floor
❗BUT: when the first Furni-Matic item cycle ends, those same items will become non-recyclable again. And yep, that’s confirmation that we are in fact going to be doing refreshes, or “cycles” of the Furni-Matic inventory, similar to how the Collecti-Matic works. WIN! We also don’t yet have an exact date when the current cycle will end, but we’ll keep you posted.
🔧 Additional measures we’re taking for a smooth launch
We’re also adding a short, seconds-long cooldown between recycling actions. And the Ducket price is going back up to 10 Duckets for the first week after the feature’s release (it was going to be -50% for the first week).
These measures put a small brake on its usage and will help us make sure our servers don’t melt under the pressure!!
♻️ Moving forward to the full release
We hope this feels like a fair compromise. We feel that it’s a balance between keeping the system healthy and letting you recycle your Habbo lives away 😃
That said, please, please remember: just like we originally made clear in the Furni-Matic information page, other items might become non-recyclable in the future without warning. Examples of when we might need to do this is when an item is generated in huge numbers due to an exploit or other specific reason, or when we want to do a specific Furni-Matic cycle that is limited to certain items.
