Curator Stamp Exploit Fixed
Back in November, after we released a Black Friday offer, we noticed an unusually high numbers of Curator Stamps being created. To protect the economy, we disabled Curator Stamp creation indefinitely. Collectors could still use their existing Emeralds and Silver to buy Curator Stamps for their Collector Cabinets so the community wasn’t too badly affected.
Last week, after reviewing Silver levels, we re-enabled Curator Stamp creation on the Collectibles website. Soon after, the number of new Stamps started rising abnormally again, casting doubt on our earlier theory that November’s spike was caused by excess Silver in the system.
Over the weekend, we were alerted to a potential exploit, similar to the past Emeralds (NFTC) issue in Habbo Collectibles. We immediately disabled Curator Stamps while our developers investigated, identified, and patched the problem.
As part of the fix, we’ve invalidated a large number of Curator Stamps created through this exploit, to protect the stability of the Habbo Collectibles ecosystem.
❗ We strongly advise not buying any Curator Stamps on third party marketplaces like TokenTrove for the next 24 hours while our team invalidates tokens we have targeted as exploited.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, Habbos!
